Calender opens itself?
 

I like how the N900 gives you email updates via those little chat bubbles, but for some reason my N900 likes to open my calender pretty often the same way even though I have no events or anything going on with my calender.

Anybody else have that issue and know why its doing that? I had a ton of stuff on the calender when I synced it with my google one but I deleted all that stuff off and its blank now.

My guess is it just opens the calender like that when it syncs automatically but thats a rather odd behavior and if thats the case I think I should submit it as a bug.

Do you have any synced Outlook tasks running - independent of the calendar?

Just Mail for Exchange with a external server is what I used to sync my calender.

Works 100% with the N900 and free to sync contacts & calender.

You have to pay to use mail service but its optional, I am using the built in Gmail settings for the mail and it seems to work fine.

There's a bug already about Calendar popping up. It's related to auto-pruning of old appointments. Synchronizing could trigger that.
