Is it possible to see a bigger picture than we see on caller ID (100x100px) ?

Actually the N900 stores just 100x100 images as Contacts images, so even if it was possible to see them bigger, they'd be in low resolution. I can not suggest to you to file a bug in Bugzilla, because it will be definitely a WONTFIX for Nokia.

So ask instead for a new field in the contacts, HiResPic URL. If the person's called lately, an enhanced phone app (non-Nokia) would display the high-res version. If not, put it into a queue to be downloaded later.

Might be better to just suggest (i.e. bug/brainstorm) that a higher res image is stored in the contacts db for this specific purpose, I can't see all that many of my contacts having online images available for your downloading idea to use.
