Re: Ask the Council!
I'd like to see QR codes in Downloads -section for quicker installation of applications. I'm tired to search with appmanager or phones browser to find correct app I want to install. It is more quicker to read QR code with mBarcode and let it launch browser with url to .install file and this way to start installation.

Re: Ask the Council!
I'd like to ask council. Why I do not see new release (v47) of kernel-power in package pages?
http://maemo.org/packages/view/kernel-power/ http://maemo.org/packages/view/kernel-power-modules/ http://maemo.org/packages/view/kernel-power-flasher/ http://maemo.org/packages/view/kernel-power-bootimg/ All packages (v47) are in repository and installing via HAM or apt-get working file, see: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d.../kernel-power/ Next, I promoted old version v46 to extras-testing. It is visible is my log activity on http://maemo.org/packages/view/kernel-power/ But after weeks it is still not in extras-testing. Why? Is there any bugs? Or why kernel-power on package page has problems? |

Council actually contacted the package pages administrator a couple weeks ago about kernel power. We should be able to get back to you with answers on this before too long. |
Re: Ask the Council!
I have another question for Council. I reported bug some months ago about publish i386 binary of program sdk-fiasco-gen:
https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11809 Package was published to repository: http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mae...dk-fiasco-gen/ (I'm able to create fiasco image without qemu), but i386 package still missing on maemo.org package site: http://maemo.org/packages/view/sdk-fiasco-gen/ In comment 7 Marcell Lengyel wrote that is needed to re-import the SDK package list. Can somebody from council do it? |
Re: Ask the Council!
No, but I forwarded the issue to Niels, he should know what to do.
