Okay, a little history lesson is in session. I have been craving to get my hands on an N900, checking every single day for news on availability from last october. I was on this forum all the time! Watching the post counts go up and up on the 'now available' and 'now shipping' threads. Reading on all the fantastic things this phone can do. But I finally got hold of one a week ago, and before opening it up, I thought I might just check out my friends thoroughly, just to make sure I'm not making a mistake, and unfortunately, I just did not get on with it, My email was slow and laggy, simple tasks I was used to on other nokia devices just weren't there. It was running the latest PR1.1 firmware, but I'm not up for being a beta user. So I have mine for sale. Its unlocked obviously, and comes with everything you should expect it comes with, all unopened, except for the box which I had to open to double check that everything was in fact present. I am sellilng for £430 inc. royal mail special delivery, and will only ship to U.K. Payment by BT. You can request further details to double check authenticity if need be. Pictures attached.

Well, we exchange details (address, landline, email, mobile...etc), check that my bank account is where I say it is and correlates to my city/town and that my landline does as well. Check until you are happy, then once payment is made and confirmed in my A/C, it will be posted out. :-).

damn thats about $600 US dollars. Here in the US they sell for about $450. I guess they have a higher value in the UK.

yeah well, we get taxed heavily. same goes for the nexus one, sells for $450 but after taxes n stuff we get charged £410. Not too good eh?

I think you should recreate another thread, and put "UK" in the title. This sounds like a good deal for someone in UK.
Schedule it here for 7 or 10 days before you move it to Ebay and mention this fact in the thread. |

there are a lot of guys here who have a lot of ecommerce experience. I would NEVER repeat NEVER buy from someone I do not know via bank transfer (!) To make your offer more attractive you might offer paypal payment. this way if the phone does not arrive the poor buyer can at least get his money back. But be sure so that YOU are also safe only ship it to registered pay pal addresses. Or do a physical delivery and cash payment. This would be my prefered method. btw. i am not in for a new n900 ;) as I already bought mine - in the US where it is cheaper and you don't get ripped of by the tax ppl @all don't buy from someone you do not know via bank transfer unless you are a speculator :cool: |

Nope not branded to vodaphone. But came from vodafone, checked with them and it is not branded and same is said on the support forum

no n900 is branded but that is for a different topic alltogether this n900 is a very good price and iam sure it would sell on ebay with paypal payment only thing with ebay is you will pay to list the item , you pay when the item sells , then you have to pay to use paypal out of a 390 pound deal you will be looking at about , 1.50 to list with pics , about 3-5 pound ebay charges when the item sells then about 7 pounds paypal charges so roughly around 12-15 pounds fees on that phone i sell alot of phones on the old ebay and its a good place to sell them just make sure the buyer has a paypal verified account so you are protected yourself nice one mate good luck with the sale |
