Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Thumbed up for sure. Optified and the game play works great. One thing I would suggest (but maybe not worth the effort) is moving the edge of the table more upwards so it's more finger-friendly because around the edge of N900's screen it is sometimes less sensitive.... and I also second the suggestion earlier that the upper options could be hidden during gameplay. Anyway this is awesome, big thumb up to you, too!

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

One more thing I noticed.... the volume key is reversed in the sense that pushing downwards increases volume and pushing upwards decreases it. (Maybe it's due to PR1.1 has changed the direction of the volume key??) Since the gameplay is portrait mode only, pushing upwards to increase volume makes better sense.

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

That I cannot control... that is handled by the OS... And the portrait mode is aligned the same way as when you make a phone call...

But for the rest of the comments, tks and noted... At the moment we are about to upgrade SoccerFrenzy but be sure that the changes you suggest are very constructive and will be integrated.

Tks!

No final, so no need to worry about it, but you don't have a valid bugtracker[1], you should request the creation of one at bugs.maemo.org or provide your own, a e-mail address is also valid for small projects.

For those voting up applications please follow the rules[2], this is not a popularity contest.

when you "score" (hit the circle) with the Soccer ball, it will make the Windows 95/98 Chord sound :D

hehe :P

Hey sio2interactive. You've said before that you are basically just a one-man band. If you don't think it to rude of me to ask, what is your name? It seems a little impersonal to just call you sio2interactive!

Cheers,

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Whats for sure will sell is a good first person shooter, or a rpg like world of warcraft.

Games with a big community where people can invite eachother, chat with eachother or maybe even share stuff. it should be possible on the n900.

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

There is no need to created fake users to spam votes for your applications to get into Extras

BTW the new versions crashes if you happen to notice when closing the dialog asking to upgrade to full.

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Have to change the comment coz I got the version wrong. 1.05 doesn't work past the buy now pop-up and it crashed immediately.

Re: SIO2 Interactive: Games for the N900

Thread unstuck due to antisocial behavior of publisher.
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=44928

Edit: Request has been made by developer to remove the thread to make it clear there will be no further updates. As having the whole thread just disappear will probably be more confusing than just closing it, i've decided to do the latter.

Edit 2 by Reggie: I concur. No thread should be deleted unless it violates any of the rules each member had agreed on when they registered for an account here at talk.maemo.org and maemo.org as a whole.
