/usr/share/locale and rootfs
The contents of /usr/share/locale take much space on rootfs. I wonder what is the best thing to do. The wiki (Free up rootfs space) says nothing about it. Remove unused locale subdirectories? Move this directory under /opt and add a symbolic link pointing to this new location? But is this latter solution (which uses even less space on rootfs) safe, i.e. won't locale messages be ever needed before the eMMC partition is mounted?

Re: /usr/share/locale and rootfs
I've bumped this as i've just found out its 9.6MB on rootfs.
But en_GB will be the only one i'll ever need. So can I delete the other ones? anyone have any info on this? |
