I see some people have updated in the UK, but I still cant see the update. What can I do?

Other option is to delete apps from OVI Store, tunewiki is a good candidate

The Wiki has a great guide on freeing rootfs space. It's worked for me in the last two updates.

Wait
or uninstall battery-eye if you have it (and other apps using python - this and barriosquare are the two I have)
or use NSU

What will that do? I just uninstalled it, so lets see if it picks it up

Yes best to wait on this update, it isn't that big of an update and you probably won't notice that much improvement anyway. If it was a major update I'd be tempted to download the .bin file and update manually.

So just wait for it.

Hi! Can anybody help?
I've just tried to update my Maemo 5 to 3.2010.02.08.
When I try to continue updating, after I did backup successfully, an error msg turn up:
'Not enough memory in target location'
I have made a reboot and I have erased some applications to free memory.
My currently storage details: Total size: 27,22 GB; In use by system: 227,6 MB; User files: 2,82 GB; Available: 24,18 GB.
What could be the problem?

Just updated in France. No problem.

The same two erroneous messages appear, but everything went fine.

Rootfs down by 5/6 MB though.

I'm actually waiting for an update including contact groups and group ringtones...
