HELL YEAH! LET THEM ALL BE PULLED OFF THE SHELVES!
And send them to me. Seriously, this is rather funny to me. |
Re: Should N900 be recalled by Nokia from a market ?
Yeah... Nokia says MeeGo, and for N900: NoGo... That was expensive lesson to learn: never trust Nokia.

Re: Should N900 be recalled by Nokia from a market ?
Following the OP's logic by my criteria all IPhone models should be recalled. They advertise the best web experience but the damn browser does not have flash and can't render properly many pages.
But that's the beauty of a free market, everyone buys what they like. Personally, I am no developer, just a tech enthusiast with moderate linux experience (no professional one) and I love my N900. Even without any more software it's still the best device for ME right now. The combination of the best browser on a handheld + fast multitasking + instant messaging + hardware keyboard makes this device as close to a real computer (or more precisely netbook) as I can buy right now. So no one's recalling mine :P |

Hell even HUGE corporations like LG just announced that they will release a Meego fueled phone I read this morning. And that when theres been not a single word from Nokia itself if/ when they will have a phone ready. LG is by far a bigger player then HTC when it comes to electronics... Suck on that one for a while ;) |

I had Touch HD before N900 and Linux was running pretty fine on it. (Except for the missing drivers, but the core.) Something like HD2 running fully supported Maemo would be great. And HTC is not dropping support for the device as soon as it hits the market. They even released WinMo 6.5 upgrades for every 6.1 device it was possible to. :) And LG... Read more - they are releasing Moblin based phone (with custom UI on top, incompatible with Hildon). It just happens that Moblin changed name in the meantime, so "first MeeGo phone" is a perfect marketing for them. :D |

So is Nokia 6310. Does it hold a demand for it? :>
