I have the unlimited plan on mine, was on the sim from the i-mate jasjar I used. So all is fine.

Changed to internet2.voicestream.com and it worked like a charm! They wanted $15.00 extra to "upgrade" my Unlimited Web on my N900!

Keeping my $15.00 and staying on T-mobile, for now!

do you need a contract to get the shadow plan? id like to use it in limited use where i need 3G data nad dont care about the phone plan

Lately I can't get any of the APNs to work. This is just the last couple of days.

The only problem with this plan is it's been discontinued and meant for feature phones, not smartphones. Because of that I try not to use it too much (approx. 200MB per month), so that T-Mobile does not force me to upgrade to the $25 plan.
Just FYI, I usually download 1.5GigaByte every month using this plan. I use epc.tmobile.com APN.
