Neo Geo (Gngeo) on the N900?
 

Has anyone tried getting Gngeo
( http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/gngeo/ )
to work on the N900?

I know there are alot of apps from OS2008 that can run functionally, if not opt-ified, on Maemo5. Is Gngeo one of them?

Are there any technical hang ups that have kept Gngeo from being ported to Maemo5?

I miss the days of playing King of Fighters 95 in full speed on my N800.

I think Smoku expressed interest in working on a NeoGeo emulator when he found out that Metal Slug does indeed run on the old NG cabs. =) Maybe if you can PM him the source or get him in the thread there'll be a port sometime soon.

that's the only game i still play on my psp, but would also love to play it on the n900!

When I try to compile gngeo in scratchbox, configure gives this error:
Does someone know what to do about it?

Flandry's MAME app plays Metal Slug 1 & 2 smoothly with sound (not the SDL version). Also play both Shocktroopers well too :)

Played every Neogeo game I have tried :)

My N900 is 800mhz OC, BTW.

A totally-working Neo Geo emulator for n900 would be very nice.
Almost all NG games are good especially Metal-Slug serie :)
Does anyone know why OS2008 version of gngeo don't compile and how hard it would be for fix it ?
