Observing Slowness :(
Hi guyz.....
Its been an month or so i am using N900 and was pretty impressed with features...... now am observing tooooo slowness in my device. I have download lot of stuff in between and did lot of browsing. Can any one help on finding what is reason for this slow response? Also when i tap menu button, desktop starts moving. It is becoming hard for me to go to menu options........I tried re-calibrating but didnt helped anything.........:(:(:(:(:(:( |
Re: Observing Slowness :(
Well did you download things from Extras-Devel?? If so that might be causing probably most of the problems..
Try removing some of the apps that you downloaded and see if that works otu for you.. If it doesn't.. well IMHO I think you should flash the firmware.. |
Re: Observing Slowness :(
if i tell u the catalogues that are active in my phone that would help?
As per your response, if i would have downloaded few apps from that, will it hamper calibration? Also is there any VIRUS funda in this? |
Re: Observing Slowness :(
Apps from extras-devel might even break your device(software side) so that could be the reason it's slow. Assuming you have apps from that repository.

Re: Observing Slowness :(
as per above listed is there any catalogue which is probamatic?
|
Re: Observing Slowness :(
from evening almost 5 times i have rebooted and also did screen calibration.
Please tell me how to clear off browser cache.... Bascially there are two problems 1) When i tap Menu button, something else gets selected or desktop starts moving. I did screen calibration for this, which didnt helped. 2) when tap close button, it gets highlighed but doesnt close whatever i wanted to close. |
Re: Observing Slowness :(
Re-flash the device, it did the trick for me
|
