I'll finish up that cross and put on some finishing touches for you this week mate, break it down into the five sections we talked about previously and get the images off to you. How do you want them, in terms of format - *.png?

Any format is fine (I have CS4, so can butcher or change if needed)
Download the new version and see what ya think? - looks like i can flatten buttons using CSS - so that might be easier then added button images! (Might just put the buttons on top of a background image!)

Hm....? Can't seem to find the latest version mate...?

Also, autoupdate doesn't seem to be working either :| strange.... Either that or my 900 is FUBAR, which it shouldn't be....

<offtopic>

I like CS4 functionality but don't like the tabbed format of the main window - much prefer the window based layout of CS3. On a sidenote Adobe emailed me last week to let me know about the soon-to-be-released CS5 - looking forward to that after the addition of vibrancy adjustment layers and video insertion in CS4 :D

I think it would be easier that way than creating different views for each tab. Noticed that QT supports png for resource images

Yeh ok, another n00b moment, switched to GSM to conserve battery last night and didn't re-enable 3G or HSDPA....

Did take well over 3/4 hours just to get that bit working, documentation is sparse, and not a CSS expert so kinda working blind here!

Previously mikec has helped showing how to use images, but i'm not using qt designer/creator - hand coding the lot :|

So progress unfortunatley will be slow - but hopefully heading in the right direction!

Ooooh am liking the buttons :D :D :D very nice indeed!

Can you change the buttons using CSS and sub them for image files...? If so, give me some pixel dimensions and I'll scrub you up some shiny ones :D

Also, was thinking - if you're going to use CSS then does this make the cross irrelevant...? Or is the cross going to be acting as a "homepage" with the CSS kicking in after that with the click of a section of the cross?

Re: [Annouce] HealthCheck - Hardware/System checker for the N900

probably you should try qt creator/designer as it allows you to place images on icons and forms easily ( i.e. after you cross the hurdle of knowing how to create the resource file)
