i also forget to say, that there are spanish sites that the neopwn is ready to download whit a really good tutorial about install for free, only registering, and very easy to find it in google, is not a secret but all you guys that posting in this forum asking for the inyestion drivers or the neopwn please do good your homeworks before to make the people crazy in this thread asking about that, i thinks this thread is for aking about problems and to try to solution it. :P

agian for everybody, use saint holy google, everything is there.

i posted in a other spanish site a tutorial about handshake, im sure you know the site also
the tutorial was 100% making for me, i dont take any info for any website, and was long time ago. im not the one copy and paste the tutorilas or the work or other people ;P

one member of my full equipped to create a fully automated application for decoding serial WLAN_XX networks, we are now with those of jazztel. until we give permission for their release is in our repository. Once released we will make concerted here.

i have problem with starting metasploit and set in neopwn ,other programs like grim wepa work pefect ,but when i start set ,or metasploit it starting ,and just exit,

Silly question but why are neopwn patching the wl1251's driver when the source is availible under GPL?

Yes, I experienced the same problem.
Running './msfconsole in the directory gave me a 'path' error apparently regarding the 'shebang' line in the 'msfconsole' file:
!/usr/bin/env ruby
It seems the 'env' 'program' is not providing the correct path to ruby.
When I edited the 'shebang' line on msfconsole to:
!/usr/bin/ruby1.8 without using the 'env' , I can now './msfconsole' in the directory and open a working metasploit console on xterm. See screenshot 02.
THE PROBLEM is this:
When I go to the Neopwn gui. and open metasploit, I get an 'stty' standard input: invalid argument error. See screenshot 04.
There was a bug #426 in the Metasploit archives earlier which gave the same output. The solution at the time was:

"The correct fix will be to check for stdin == tty and ignore readline entirely"
If someone with more experience in this can give any advice, Please don't hesitate to give input!

I used gparted in ubuntu to format / partition the SD Card.

I have Neopwn, Nitdroid, and a native Debian on my 16GB SD :)

Neopwn ships with an old version of ruby, Metasploit will run much faster with the new one.
to upgrade (copy the following to neopwn terminal):

When trying to set into monitor mode with airmon-ng, it complains that iw isn't installed.

Where can I obtain it?

I've tried compiling it on the phone but to no avail.

can fasttrack work in neopwn ,i canot find him in files,i googl fasttrack 3 for neopwn but nothing . so i try to install fasttrack like in backtrack ,everything goes ok ,and at the end he canot install ClientForm

hello all..i would ask for some help...

i was referring to the tutorial for installing neopwn on phonesfera..but it said i have to have pc-linux..i dont have any linux distro in my pc...

so,am i able to copy the w00t and files.tar into the N900, and install using the N900?

if yes,could you please shed some light for me?

EDITED:or could i just use OPENSSH?

i prefer to use OPENSSH as i can type faster plus copy/paste the command lines..

this is a tutorial in full english (not translated) that i found in the net..

you can install NeoPwn either on the eMMC or to the memory card.. both instructions can be found on the website..

the biggest advantage for me is..IT CAN BE INSTALL VIA OPENSSH :D:D

however, when i got to the step 11 :

db_nmap ip
show me the nmap executable coudnt not be found,i looking on google but nothing about neopwn ,only backtrack and other systems
,when i try to apt-get install nmap ,they tell me that i have newes version .

i'm having trouble formatting the micro SD..

use internal memory for neopwn ,you have tutorial here on forum ,i have the same problem with sd card ,and my neopwn is on internal memory now

if i type "chmod +x insneomod.sh" , i got no such file or directory...

if i type "chmod +x /home/user/MyDocs/insneomod.sh", i got nothing..i think its executable already..

however,when i type "sh /home/user/MyDocs/insneomod.sh" , i got :line 25: syntax error : end of file unexpected (expecting "fi")

what seems to be the problem?

this is my script..i change your "opt/neopwn/" to "/mydocs/neo/" for where the modules are located..

The script works for me, I think that the problem is the windows editors behavior with the newline character.
Use vi/vim or leafpad (more user-friendly, install it from application manager) on your N900 to paste and edit the script.
