Re: looks like flash 10.1 first on nexus one
I really dont understand the need for flash on mobile devices, its not like we can take full advantage of these sites anyway as there made with mouse input in mind.
to be honest all this whining about flash is because people think their missing out on something, if flash wasnt around would we all be listening to users crying wolf at the lack Vimeo support on their mobile devices?? |

But seriously, we've been down this avenue of discussion before and obviously faster flash would be better. Why there has to be hardware acceleration for it to work faster than cold tar is a mystery to me, but so be it. It will come when it comes... |
Re: looks like flash 10.1 first on nexus one
i would love for flash to be replaced using something that is an open standard like html5 but the fact of the matter is that about 1/3 of all internet sites use some sort of flash and to expect them all to rewrite their webpages is rediculous. I use my n900 as much if not more than my laptop so it needs to be able to visit every site that my laptop can, so yes it really does need flash 10.1 just so it can handle those heavy flash sites.

I wouldn't mind if flash will be released as beta. It would go in line with maemo on this phone :P
