Nokia Research Center show new wireless technology - leaking n-gage on Maemo?
See this video (German site but video is in English):
http://www.golem.de/1002/73344.html At around 0:41, when you get to see the supported media types of the N900 device you can clearly see "n-gage" in the center? What's this supposed to mean? :) |

Nah, almost certainly just because it's a R&D project. The mock up of the UI is to appeal to Nokia managers and analysts.
I wouldn't read anything into it. |

I was actually more interested about their "mysterious" wireless technology.
It seems to be quite short range, as the device is placed directly on the transmitter. However, it would be possible to transfer an ok quality album over 802.11n in under 10 seconds... |
