N900 battery icon frozen at full
 

Almost certainly this is related to installing/uninstalling powatool. Any ideas short of reflashing?

Have you rebooted? Is is a genuine Nokia battery?

Yes. I even changed to another Nokia battery.

I have checked the actual level using grep percen, and I get true readings that way, while the icon is full. At the low threshold it suddenly drops to nothing. Wierd.

Very weird - is the battery level shown in the system menu incorrect as well?

The battery icon is full, but when I run: "lshal | grep percent" it says: 77

I had Load-Applet installed, but un-installed it (along with some other apps) after I started having issues...

So ignoring the two that aren't bugs, where do you see that the remaining bug would be marked closed and fixed in version PR1.2?

The OP in 8293 reports that it was not an issue pre pr1.1, pr1.2 has a fix for a battery issue (not sure the details). So *hopefully* this will be fixed in the next release.
