something weird going on my n900
ok, i just rebooted my n900 because it was slow, web browser hang up and transmission torrent software was veeeerryyy sloooow.
when my n900 booted, i tried to start transmission from others menu but then i noticed something weird, main menu and others menu was opened together, layered.. others menu was top of main menu and i could only move others list and see main menu on background. then i noticed that desktop was zoomed out... everything was pretty small.. then i rebooted again and now it was ok but when i started transmission, program said i do not have write permission.. then i looked my files on my phone and i noticed that documents, camera, pictures, video and sound folders was duplicated and i don't have write permission at all... only read permission in whole memory can someone help me? what to do... i don't wanna reflash :( |
Re: something weird going on my n900
I think you just need to get rid of transmission. I think there is a bug that makes your drive read only.

Re: something weird going on my n900
maybe delete your icon cache? You have only one copy of the folders but the icons show up twice in file manager.
run this command as root: gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor |

I had duplicated folders for quite awhile, but not now, probably went away when I formatted the eMMC.
