Great job mate, hopefully you could make one for me (Soppa) too?

Having proper capitalisation would help the way it looks and give it a more polished feel. Align everything, the same font and same font size. I like the 2 icons you've put, for Maemo and ARM on the upper and lower right sides of the screen. I would change the text to something like this;
Code:

Nokia N900 // Maemo 5
NOLO Boot Startup...
Initializing Hardware...
[detected] ARM Cortex A8 *pause* [ready]
[detected] PowerVR SGX530 *pause* [ready]
[detected] TI WL1251 mWLAN *pause* [ready]
[detected] Sony ACX565AKM & TSC2005 Controller *pause* [ready]
[detected] 256MB RAM (768 swap) *pause* [ready]

Booting X.org // Hildon...

The last 3 dots after hildon could appear one by one, and by the time the last one comes up, the UI does. You could put [ready] in green, [detected] in blue or gray, and the rest of the text white.

That would be a very good boot sequence. If I could do it, I would.

No problem if you'd rather not as it's your own, hard, work. But I thought it might be easier if people can have the tools themselves to personalise it rather than having to bug you =8)

already mentioned how i make these, in this thread lots of times

I fired up the Gimp and started working, I had no idea you'd check the thread so quickly. I suppose I'll stop now since I know you'll do it better than me.

I think the Cambria font, or even Droid font would be the best to do it in.
