maemo.org - Talk - N900 Video focus and led light, python script

Installed it, no dependency problems whatsoever. Still doesn't work.
Did everything in khodorhijazi's instructions but it just can't get it working.

Maybe because I'm using PR1.2?

if you've installed the latest version and still can't see the lfocus icons when you open up the lens cover then please tell me what do you get when running the following from the terminal and opening up the lens cover (not closing it) :
python /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/lfocuswi.py

as for that, I don't think lfocus is related to that issue in anyway, the only thing on top of my head right now is that I think you should try cleaning up the rootfs and the package manager.

lfocus_0.514-1
Added a timer to take photos/videos using the disabled autofocus button

quick question - can I install the new version over the existing one, or do I need to uninstall existing one (0.509-1) first?

it should work fine if you install the new version over the older one. but in case you have a problem installing it then uninstall the older one 1st.
