excellent (& quick!!) work once again, works a treat - and thanks also for upping the font size on the timers :-)

m2cm2c I have folowed everything up until installing ifocus

1. when I try to install from Xterm window, I dont know the path which is N95card01/Downloads/ifocus_0.514-2_all.deb

2. when I tap on file in File Manager it says "Select application" where I choose "App manager" which then opens --- but just sits there and nothing happens.

I get a scary clicking sound from the lens when i manually adjust the focus.. Kinda like its doing something it shouldnt be..

am I just being paranoid or is the same for everyone?.. would it damage the hardware with use?

ehehe....I`ve asked the same question when this software came out....It`s not a problem at all....the lense is just readjusting itself.

Doesn't seem to work for me, installed the lfocus_0.514-2_all.deb, also rebooted, but nothing shows up, nor do the shortcut keys work.
Now I should read last few pages and find answer and ponder why I posted this.

E: Updated from the application manager, now it works.

Re: N900 Video focus and led light, python script

Feedback :

Installation :
1. Downloaded
2. Trasferred to phone over wifi using filezilla sftp://...
3. in Xterminal : dpkg -i ...
4. Installed in 5 seconds.
5. Rebooted.
6. All working. (Open camera lens, out of fullscreen - icons are there.)

Usage :
1. The timer and 3 dots bar looks a little cramped, like it's getting cut off.
2. It is still usable though.
3. The built in timer should use the red flash to alert the user it's going to take the photo, else there is no feedback other then the banner.

Overall :
AWESOME!!!!!!!

Well, I don't think "alerting the user" is the goal of this widget...
But I agree, AWESOME.

I only dare to suggest one improvement: the buttons "on" and "off" for each flash could be unified in only two "switch" buttons, "red flash status" and "main flash status"
And please, we need this at repos!
Great.
