nokia bb5 adl loader usb phone parent missing

when i flashing the Firmware and EMMC at the very bottom i got the SUITABLE USB device not found waiting.. and then i hold the "U" key plugin the USB cable at same time,



and it still not running at all,, so i checked on device manager
there is problem with the USB port. i had the name of this error .
it's "nokia bb5 adl loader usb phone parent" that is missing..
so that's the point why my n900 didnt flashing at all...

anyone knows?

Isn't the holding down the u thing an option only for installing under Linux? Are you following instructions from the Wiki?

Holding down the u key is a trigger for the device, telling it to enter the proper USB mode, regardless of whether it is Windows or Linux.

A better question for nokiahui is:

Are you using Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit?

he is using Vista (I think 64)

my suggestion is to change OS.
A lot of people had trouble with 64 bit...

Do you have PC Suite installed? If so, the drivers should be installed or found inside one c:\program files\nokia\connectivity cable driver

and yes i have the nokia PC suite installed and nokia ovi suite .

but there's also a driver is called nokia bb5 adl loader usb phone parent, that's what i got when i flashing the eMMC ,then came out the USB DEVICE NOT FOUND waiting . then after this i press the U" and plugin usb cable still didnt running. and i also type these nokia bb5 blah blah in google search.. i found out ,this driver dont surtporting N900.and/or dont have it in windows vista
