Re: roosh problem

Try rebooting first. That automagically frees some space sometimes. (There was a thread on that at some point, but it was tl;dr for me, since I knew what to do about it anyway (although not why it happens))

Place the file in the same directory as flasher
C:\Program Files\Maemo\Flasher3.5\
and type the name of the file YOU downloaded.
Use tab to complete filename (example RX(TAB))

Edi: vote for the bug about the not so detailed %m error:

The simplest thing would to try on an XP or Linux machine if you have one available. If not, it might help if you tell us what flashing guide you're following.

Btw...

Turn off the light,
take a deep breath and relax.

You will be fine as soon as you locate the right hoops to jump through.

Re: roosh problem

Windows says device unplugged, or the flasher program says it?

Good good!

Now go convince someone that the root partition is too small.

The root partition is too small. (Or the wiki would not have existed in the first place.)
