Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
tried another game the same method and just the same result , you hear the sony bootup audio and then once that ends it exits back to x-terminal and displays Segmentation fault.

Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
badboyuk: all roms fails with segfault without -runcd switch and freezes before screen initialization with -runcd switch, right ?

Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
AgogData: /opt/maemo/usr/games/psx4m -runcd /home/user/MyDocs/image.iso -cyclemult 2 -frameskip 3 -fullscreen
you always can read list of options by "/opt/maemo/usr/games/psx4m --help" also it can be very usefull to create .desktop files in /usr/share/applications/hildon to avoid using psx4m-gui (i have some idea to implement feature of creation desktop files to psx4m-gui) badboyuk: i'll take a look to possible reason of errors, now i can only say that you can try another bios and try to reboot phone ;-) |

Re: PSX4All Maemo Edition
Ok, I have a couple of observations for you...
I've tried playing with the settings and here goes... N900 default clock 600Mhz Mortal Kombat 4 (MUTE, Frameskip 3, Cycle Multip. 5): Intro videos - 35fps to 38fps Menus - 33fps to 36fps Ingame - 29fps to 33fps Kula World (MUTE, Frameskip 4, Cycle Multip. 5): Ingame - 27fps to 31fps Crash Bandicoot (MUTE): Intro videos - 30fps to 37fps Map - 29 to 30fps Ingame - game crashes Crash Bandicoot 2 (MUTE): Intro vidoes - 30fps to 35fps Warproom - 28fps to 31fps Ingame - game crashes Crash Bandicoot 3 (MUTE): Intro videos - 32fps to 42fps Warproom - 30fps Ingame - 28fps to 31fps Kind of playable in a way. I am sure that at some point the games will be fully playable. I mean, right now it's all up to the CPU, yet we already have the games running roughly at 45%-55% of their speed. Pretty sweet. If anyone could figure out why the game crashes when entering a level, that would be nice. I hope my observations are useful. And last question - why doesn't the emulator have the PS1 startup screen? |
