This might be a stupid question, but..... I know I have to force the install because the 2 missing files will be in the new update. How do I download psx4all 0.3.6 from the reposotories??? it only tries to install and not save the deb..

+ .BIN.Z works again
+ Now it is possible to mapp in the new GUI - in these version the emu didn't recognize the left and up direction keys and start and select. - maybe I'm wrong, but I belive in old versions the backlight was on even if you didn't press any key for longer time. @ smoku: As I said before, the action-buttons are messed up for me since your first version of these emu.(circle=X, X= triangle, ...) and left and right shoulder-buttons never worked. As no one has posted the same problem, is it possible that different hardware versions of the keyboard caused this ? |

You need to specify which exactly buttons are mixed.
ie. X is O [] is X etc. I have no game that shows me this mappings. |

Smoku - not sure why - but I am still unable to get the bios to load. Versions prior to .4 seemed to do it fine. It is definitely located in /home/user and is all lowercase.
EDIT: never mind it appears as if you went back to the MyDocs location for the bios |

That's the actuall output format in pocketiso 3.2 for normal compression. Perhaps it is only necessary to add .Z to match both (.BIN.Z and .bin.Z) ? |

P.S. This is the last time I explain these things to newbies with close to zero posts. I know that it is hard to read 50+ pages of posts, but restating things over and over makes it hard for the ones actually supporting the port.

PSX4All 0.3.7 is in the extras-devel.
I completely rewritten input handling layer. Please test it throughly. The mapping should now work fine. FPS display is also fixed. Quote:

Only the direction buttons seem to be working in 0.3.7, start and select stopped working and I cant press X to enter the game to see if the rest work..

I can confirm, the bug isn't gone. :(
Have tested different mappings,and sixaxis mapping. Even unset L/R buttons . Have tested with scph1001.bin and build in HLE bios. No success. |

nvm. its only breath of fire 4 again. with all frame skips on, 1/2 frames and cycle 6. with all those off it doesnt evn load. any ideas? also are we getting load state back?
