I rather want that smoku should first try to make the emu more compatible, after that, small changes like the screen could be done.

Bamm finanlly got my wwf games going thanks to mhmob, Converting the ecm files was the issue with me. Anyway the menu runs fine but in game is a little slow i have cpu thing upto 10 and the other at 17/18 any other tweaks i should do ?

well if you actually read back a few pages people are asking for bios selection since the emu uses scph1001.bin at default. and as for loading the bios place it in /home/user/MyDocs/ with the filename all lowercase. Im sure ive already said this once before........

lucas if you mean the cycle multiplier at 10, there have been a few reports of the keys no longer working, but i think that was under the built-in HLE tbh. If you pulsekill your audio it should boost it slightly.

i couldn't locate the bios and the only way i can even see the file greyed out(allowing only the HLE to be shown under user) was in pscx m under bios... so later i just put all the bios's in the playstation package attained from the internet, in the my doc area and it finally showed playstation screen.. don't know which one worked since there is 11... but definitely not the scph1001.bin as i tried that one already. any insight?

well in MyDocs i do have scph1001.bin and scph7502(41a).bin so try that, if not id personally just try one bios at a time.

I use GPE file manager to move stuff around. Prehistoric command line commands be darned! Well, at least for file transfers, anyways ;)

Yes, it is an alpha, but all the more cool that Raiden 2 and Hot Shots Golf are almost perfect :) and I am still using 3.2 version :)

Is there an improvement in performance with 3.9 that is enough to upgrade now? If games play about the same, I will hold off.

Here's a list of very good games I tested out:

FF7 - works, fullspeed
Kula World - works nearly fullspeed
G-Darius - works, fullspeed
Gex 1 - working nearly full speed but music is laggy (but sounds work good)
Cool Boarders 2 - working good but music dont works?
Alundra - not fullspeed but it works
Breath of Fire 3 - Works good
Alundra 2 - works, very slow
Castlevania SOTN - works, but a little slow
Worms World Party - nearly full speed, but it lags
Chase the Express - works, very slow
Tekken 1 - not playable at the moment, too slow
tekken 2 - very slow and a bug with spikes ingame...
Crash Bash - works, but very slow
Bushido Blade - cannot start the game
Vagrant Story - cannot start the game
Heart of Darkness - not working

no some of us arent, you can force install it if you download the .deb file, otherwise u need to wait. it has been said numerous times in the last 10 or some pages.

hi i just downloaded a rom in winrar format... i tried both rar and unrar'ed file but psx4all cannot detect it / open it...

what should i do before browsing for the rom from psx4all... Its currently in rar format. thanks

you must extract the rar file and then it should be a ISO/IMG/BIN file (i.e a cd formal)

you can extra from PC then load the file to your phone. normally ps1 disc are about 500-700mb

Is there a performance improvement over 3.2? I am happy with Raiden 2 and Hot Shots Golf performance, but would change up if better performance for Dead or Alive :)

No 1.2 here, so would need to force install the deb.

People keep missing this, so long as you are running the latest PR1.1.1 your Application Manager can install straight from .DEB files, Mohammad has kindly recompiled PSX4ALL 0.3.9 (also the lastest) with the correct dependencies so all you need to do is click the above link on your N900 and it will install correctly.

hello, i am new to this but when i tried to install it they said it cannot be install because of of libhildon1 and libhildonmime0. Did anybody have this trouble before?

I'm sorry I usually just glance over posts this and shrug my shoulders, but I just have to comment when I keep seeing the same questions being asked repeatedly which are answered repeatedly. Then someone would comment like I am repeatedly in the same thread about seeing the same question asked and answered. Are we getting repetitive now? Folks, please take a little time to read. Your answers are usually only a few pages back.

when i do frameskip 1/2 with frameskip line, the game loads and plays 3x times faster however as i tried this on fifa 2005 during a match the players and the stadium kept on flickering as in vanishing then showing again.

What Bios is recognized in psx4all ? I had the 7502 one, nothing happend. Renamed it to 1001 one, got the Bios loaded screen.

hey guys whats the longest ye have played a game on any emulator? just wondering do the emulators damage the phone in anyway (overheating etc.), as far as i know with the emulators the processor is using its top clock speed

well shouldnt hurt it to much, on my last phone i had a n95 played gba emulator on everyday at morning break and dinner at work, and it was still working spot on when i sold it last month. Had it for 18 months i think.
