i usually only play on the bus and stuff so being able to save wherever i want is really handy for me. the old 0.3.1 had it but the keys are a bit messed up. tells you to press circle when what it really means is press triangle or something. but id love to have states cos they are much easier to use for me

bad new for all lovers psx4all, SMOKU doesn`t service for this emulator never again.
1-BUG =pcsx had full screen and psx4all and psx4m have not full screen only 4:3 2-BUG= psx4m 0.42 +gui or psx4m 0.43 have not keys option , only you can play with default keys or game gripper 3-BUG=you can not play with ps3 jostick in psx4m psx4m are more fast than olders versions but wihout keys configurate and wihout full screen bad.... I have n900 with 950cpu/500 dsp and with cycle 4 and frameskip 8 run well and with other overclock 1150cpu/530 dsp other friend run games very fast but i wish play with ps3 jostick and full screen in psx4m any man can do it??? please thanks regards |

hay guys im new here but i hope i can help here, so i tried so many games for ps4all and this my list of games
Destrega - slow but playable (85%) Digimon Rumble arena - slow but playable (75%) Driver - medium (90%) Gran tourismo 2 - fast but not really fast (95%) Jade cocoon - fast (96%) Nascar Rumble - at start of the race slow but after that become fast (96%) need for speed 3 hot pursuit - fast but not fast as nascar (90%) one piece grand battle 2 - medium speed but playable (85%) Pacman world - fast playable (97%) PoyPoy - slow but playable (80%) RPG maker - fast (90%) Spyro 2 gateway to glimmer - slow at first bur become fast (92%) tom and jerry - fast but theirs a prob. on the background graphics (90%) Tony hawk pro skater 4 - fast (97%) worms armmagedon - fast (95%) thats all ive downloaded thats worked on my psx4all =D |

PSX4DROID is much easier and supports wide variety of format with a pretty decent GUI to map keys. Besides game is pretty playable at stock speed.

Since it costs something (cant't remember how much), its probably closed sorce, wich means it isn't possible to even access the source without the authors permission.

i got it working with nitdroid works ok but nothing to celebrate needs multi touch realy and hasnt been updated since its release so android users are miffed off becouse they spent £6 on a half working emulator i belive psx4m is much better
also had it working on a x10 not to hot realy though accelometer is fun just to slow maby on the s galaxy or sumit a bit more powerfull but in my opinion its poo |

PSX4DROID relies in dedicated GPUs. X10 have a Snapdragon, ok, but Adreno is slow.
In DROID and other PowerVR SGX based devices, it performs very well. |

Just pointing out that PSX4DROID works with latest nitdroid.;)
It has savestates, great compatibility, remappable controlls + on-screen buttons, nice GUI and plays most games fullspeed. |

Actually it does not require multitouch, you can map all keys you need to keyboard.

Are PSX4All & PCSX Maemo still being actively worked on? I've seen it mentioned several times that one or both intend to add GPU acceleration (which would presumably make games run at a full 30 or 60fps). Is this true? If so, I'll wait to play around with them until this is implemented ... it just seems a little too slow and buggy at the moment. The reason I ask is that the latest versions date from about 6 months ago.
Also, on a similar topic, does anyone know if they're enabling GPU support for mupen64? |

im not 100% sure bit i think the thing thats holding emulation down the most is emulation of the gte and not the gpu, but gpu hardware accelaration would still be great and help performance.
Oh and i read somewhere that idle detection would help performance big times. im still hoping franxis and chui are releasing there pcsx4all source code and somebody can port it to n900/pandora. last thing i heard from tinnus was that he is still sometimes working on gpu acceleration but not that much cause he havent heard from zodttd in a while(soo it could take allot of time till the gpu plugin is finished). oh and @bluefoot mupen46plus already has gpu acceleration |

psx4m 0.43 with n900 950mhz or 1150mhz and cycle 4 and frameskip 8 run very very fast all games are the better but only with keyboard/game gripper not ps3 sixaxis , not full screen 16:9

the file on the UGent server for the Beli packaged version of psx4m 0.4.3 (aka 0.4.2 + Keyfile+gui) is gone ...

I have a question: what about save states like in psx4droid? Is it to difficult to write it to the code or we don't have that implemented into our version of psx4m? If I remember correctly Smoku posted something like "it's implemented, but not active". |

i'll take a look at code tomorrow, so if it will be there i will enable it, if not i can say that it's possible but when it will be done i don't know |

bonapart, new GUI looks promising, but there are three problems with it:
You can't choose default roms location. In emu main screen I can choose only bios scph1001.bin :p So can't play games. Maybe I missed something? When you choose frameskip or cycle multiplier it's nearly impossible to scroll to bigger numbers like 6. You have to use arrow keys. Sometimes I can get to menu. I tap 'PSX4M-Gui' and nothing happens. I have to 'ctrl+backspace' and go back to the emu to fix it. GUI needs a bit more polishing and it will be great! :) |
