Re: Sprint's WiMAX monster phone by HTC
Ooh
Just needs a hardware keyboard, the accuracy of a resistive touchscreen, and a way to directly access the phone's hardware without going through a java intepreter (yes I know Android is working on that). |
Re: Sprint's WiMAX monster phone by HTC
Wow that phone is beautiful, nokia needs to come out with something similar with meego.
If not my money may be going somewhere else. 4.3 inches and keyboard with amoled. and i'm in heaven. |
Re: Sprint's WiMAX monster phone by HTC
I am actually not impressed. Am i missing something?
The screen is cool dont get me wrong. definitely a nice size. but i wont be able to see hd difference on that screen. matter of fact people thought i had hd when i was watching a DVD on my n900. now i could plug it up to a hd tv but then that would mean i would have to carry a pouch or the wires with me everywhere which is not practical. not only that i would also need good pc with decent hd editor to make a movie or else i would just have to point, shoot and upload without touch ups to my video which i think is kind of lame personally. 8megapixel is cool but once you reach 3.0 megapixels it really starts to not matter. UNLESS you are carrying an SLR lens which no phone carries -_-. The processor is the common processor they are using is the same one the nexus one and i believe a sony and samsung phone has today, so no big deal really. especially since the ram isnt really much higher we have a total of 1g app memory right? just saying, Also it is still not as open as our current device and is restricted to one carrier. btw i heard of another arm processor that is supposedly way faster. i am wondering which phone will carry it. Like i said the screen is nice but that is all i can see especially with little 4g coverage. matter of fact there isnt enough 3g coverage as it is with 90% of the carriers now lol. but we'll see how it goes. Is it just me or are all of these non keyboard (thus) non game emulator friendly phones beginning to get old?

Re: Sprint's WiMAX monster phone by HTC
That's the first non-Nokia phone I've seen that I would jump ship for.
