looks like Recaller 0.4.0-1 is in extras and 2.0.0.7 is in devel. you sure you don't have devel repo turned on and have the wrong version installed???

This is not a bug, but a "misunderstanding". The notifications settings right now only influences the "recording since..." continuous reminders (popping up every 30 seconds), but not the notifications at the start/end of a call. I will improve this in v 2.0.1 in the next days.

There is no "they" - it's a one-man show. Me. Poor me, all alone :)
The functionality of the software is always the same (as long as it is 2.0.0). The last number (-6, -7) is the version of the package. As I made various mistakes when packaging, I had to up that number each time and release a new package build.

Ok, first of all - calm down :D
If you go to the Help page of recaller,there is a link to the package viewer where you can see what version is where. The new 2.0.0 versions are only in -devel and -test.

Then there is also a "Bugs" section on that page with instructions on how to help me track down bugs:

That should help us move forward.

As we speak, it's still recording and I see notifications every 30 secs. Widget is green. Nothing more is being printed in console.

ETA: Closing the terminal killed it. Kind of expected, but that means I could keep a terminal open instead of booting the phone every call? Or does it leave a daemon running behind?
