Yeah, audacity runs in easy debian.

Tried compiling a native version of it, but the UI did not work well.

I was thinking about it yesterday. Its a must implementation(I consider this as a missing thing from our n900) and as well a video editing application would be welcome. A simple one. There is no need for multiple and bulky apps. Waiting for something..

and audio app and a video app and the N900 would be a trully portable computer!.....i dont expect nothing fancy, just keep it simple.

any more thoughts on this? i would realy like a simple app for trimming mp3 too.
