I have Maemomapper installed as well, it works fine.
The only problem is that when my GPS (Qstarz P 1000 with internal logging) has a fix (orange led is blinking) and BT is also connected (blueled blinking) MM says 'Acquiring GPS fix...' . When I close MM and open Maps (wayfinder) it immediately shows the fix (and therefor a position) and than I quit WF and start MM again and then it says it waits for a fix. After a few minutes it recognizes the fix.

Another question: what format are the POI and track logs written ? Can it be converted to KML ?
