id personally like to see the 3d gfx chip utilised more in apps and games to show off the true powr of the n900 and the chipset it runs

The following apps I would really like on my N900

Neopwn2 (on its way)
Formula1 (currently using the timings app but nowhere near as good as the full one)
Stealth Tones (currently using some mp3's
LinkedIn (have to use full browser)
Nasa App (have to use full browser)
Blackberry style Exchange integration
TomTom (currenly have Sygic but prefer TomTom)
nice Facebook App (one being worked on)

I think thats about it for now :D

My app would be
-- Keepass. So I can import passwords from XP and import it in N900.
-- An app to secure my N900 in case of stolen.

An app that allows me to record my league tenpin bowling scores frame by frame with score calculation, spare conversion rate, running average etc....:)

My dream application would be a completely working and fully featured calendar application, like SBSH Calendar for Win Mobile or Symbian S60. It should also come with a fully customizable desktop widget of course.

GPE Calendar is a good step forward from the default calendar, but the widget for example is somewhat lacking.

Full connection to Battle.net with a port of Diablo 2 or Starcraft

Heck also a port or conversion of Total Annihilation.

ok ok in all seriousness, +1 for the calendar app as I plan to use the n900 as more of a PDA-style device.

- Stock market widget is number one on my list. It's something i really need and it hurts inside that my ipod touch got amazing app for this. StockThis is only app related to this currently, but example OMXH is missing from there and it's not really functional as how it shows information.

- Football widget would be great too.

Other than those i'm rather happy.

I just miss a few nice games (like Angry Birds) and the Dailyme.tv app . Everything else is fine.

KeepassX is in the repositories. I use it and it works well. The interface has not been remade for the small screen and it is a little harder to use, but it has been ported and is available.

Like the KeepassX available for linux, it doesn't work with the newer kdbx files...just the older kdb files, so you will have to use the older version on your Windows system to share the files.

The problem with espeak is that it does it the other way around (text to speech when he wanted speech to text)

I wish to have a good native office application and a database software like glom right now. Other cool things would be something like google earth or so

not really a "dream app", but something that my old phone was capable of that the n900 is not: recognizing music. like shazam.

thanks to the capabilities of the device and the sheer number of capable frameworks available with enough determination we can all have our dream apps.

would love a Onenote - style app - something with multiple tabs all around the periphery of the tablet - so I could easily navigate to GTD style lists on certain topics in a tree like manner (Click "personal" >click "Shopping" >Click "Groceries" or Click "Work" > click "teaching" > click "MA students", etc) that could be synced with a windows PC.
