Umm, you should be able to see kernel messages.
BTW I suggest closing the back cover then flashing the kernel.

yep the prox sensor on back of phone near camera stops access to mmc slot if covers off

Great work so far dj_steve.

I'm going to prepare my memory card so long but I'm going to wait until the gsm module works before I try Android because I need to be able to use the phone function in Android if I can't simply boot back into Maemo without reflashing the Kernel. (dual boot)

Either way, the progress is interesting to watch and while we wait, Maemo is still great to use. Only really looking towards Android for some extra applications.

also, i keep having the message saying that calendar's process failed ! and i think my bluetooth doesn't work lol
