Dependency problem
I managed to half-uninstall python-hildon, halfway through I panicked and pressed Ctrl+C. Anyway, python-hildon seems to still be installed, but when I try to install for example cute explorer I get some dependency errors. I think it's related to this, so I wonder, how can I fix this?
I tried to install cuteexplorer and attached the output here: Code:
Nokia-N900-02-8:~# apt-get install cuteexplorerNo need to mention this is a stupid mistake, by the way :p |
Re: Dependency problem
Try "apt-get install --reinstall python-hildon"

Re: Dependency problem
cuteexplorer is looking for newer versions of those packages...but when I check I have the same versions as you (running PR 1.1). So it looks like I'd get the same errors if I were to try installing cuteexplorer.
Edit: This seems to be a known problem, the developers are writing the app for PR1.2: http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...xplorer/1.1-3/ |

EDIT: Wiicontrol doesn't work though, it disappears right after starting it. |

Re: Dependency problem
This is getting on my nerves, more and more apps are getting broken, the autobuilder shouldn't have been updated :/
If you want I'll build a PR1.1.1 package, or just download an older version from http://maemo.org/packages/view/cuteexplorer |
