[Preview] File-roller, an arhcive manager
Edit: Now in extras-devel (usual warnings apply)
Started compiling file-roller for maemo, it's the standard archive manager in Ubuntu (and is available for Debian) Screenshots from the SDK, UI needs a lot of work. http://i44.tinypic.com/mcajrq.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/95wfnt.jpg Will hopefully get this packaged soon and pushed into -devel. Re: [Preview] File-roller, an arhcive manager
Uploaded to extras-devel.
Known issues, it tries to execute file-roller %U, that will display an error on startup, just ignore it for the time, think I've found the solution to it. Package is optified. |
Re: [Preview] File-roller, an arhcive manager
Looks good. I would suggest putting the (archive, edit, view, help) menus in a hildon menu though.

Re: [Preview] File-roller, an arhcive manager
javispedro suggested that I move to Xarchiver since the UI was better optimized, and he was right.
Xarchiver ready (don't install yet, the postinst is broken in -devel), everything's fixed and will be uploading a new package + a new post soon. |

Re: [Preview] File-roller, an arhcive manager
I've been playing with this for a while, but still can't seem to unrar... probably just me, cos have no idea how to do it.
It gives me some kind of an error... anyone care to explain step by step how to unrar all the files in a folder? Thanks |
