salt water is far far worse than just water. you should have rinsed the phone to wash away any salt! then dryed it out worked for me and my n95 8gig. got thrown in the sea with my phone in my pocket!!!
should have seen this guys face. me in the toilet rinsing my phone under the tap! be sure to remove battery sim and and cards you may have.

m just scared of going for this WASHING OUT MY CELL AGAIN WITH WATER :( and it has been a month now secondly that mobile shop dried out with all possible ways, he said that my cell cannot be switched on by him, though he cleared out water !...so any useful solution that i can try ?

Ok, guys i gave the phone to a repair shop and they cleaned it and the phone is turning on and looks like everything is working except for the Wlan. First it could find the routers then after trying to connect to it, it doesn't even show anymore. And that is the only way i connect to the net.

Should I try to reflash the device. Anyways suggestion or help will be appreciated.

Looks like after flashing it, it went worse. It can't even detect my network anymore :(

Is there a part that I can change and fix the phone.
