Flandry set up a compatibility page for sdlmame which everyone could add to and edit it, worked quite well it might be worth setting up something like that.

Have a look at this link http://wiki.maemo.org/Sdlmame

Where on that link? All I see is the Wiki and UAE4All Maemo already has a Wiki but nobody is adding to it except me and smoku.

I don't think many users are registered to github.(like myself)

The one flandry setup is maemo.org related you just click on and edit away.

Maybe thats what people want....an easy life.:).............(like myself)

But it doesn't work like that as the forum requires one login, but most everything else requires a Garage login. So you still need to signup again unless you already have a Garage login.

Re: UAE4All Maemo Edition

Has anyone else noticed that the emulator speed takes a hit when playing games using a sixaxis ps3 controller?
I've noticed Turrican 2 and Superfrog appear to play faster/smoother when using the N900 keys.
Also, I've noticed that as soon as I pair my ps3 controller with the N900 the N900 CPU speed stays almost constantly at 600Mhz:eek: (monitored using conky) - even before I start an emulator. If I disable bluetooth on the phone the CPU speed drops back down to 250Mhz.

Hi,
this might be a stupid question, but did you do anything in addition to play the games with the n900 keys? I canīt play any game, cos I can`t get beyond the start screens..

Thanx for any help
cheers

^^^^ Do you perhaps need to hold fn and space keys to toggle keyboard/joystick emulation?

When i log into maemo.org/talk and click on the sdlmame link i go straight into it and can start editing. There is no extra logging in.

I do have a garage account but i don't need it for that.

Fantastic on getting this released. I will make a donation at some point in the near future for sure.

I need to configure my keys or blag a ps3 controller and you've got a happy Teh playing superfrog without the need for a real amiga or pc now :D

Ah well, its kinda besides the point as I can't figure out how or where I would start a compatibility Wiki on there anyway. :p

Besides, my point was that a Wiki is a PITA to handle. Granted its a little better if you can split the page into multiple parts (which it seems you can't on GitHub but can on maemo), but it still gets really overcomplicated especially as I was thinking of adding more screen shots.

I would be happy to update the Wiki wherever it is, but I still might setup a website anyway.
