I have polished away plenty of scratches from the screen of my N82, using a slurry of 0.3um Alumina (Buehler Micropolish II) Not had the need to try this on my N900, but you could try.

What can I do to repair this? It's so visible that it's always the first thing that my friends and I see when the phone is being used. If it means to replace the plastic cover on the screen, I'll do it... but I can't find a store that sells it.

Thanks

Hey,

I found this site that has great replacement parts for the n900, specifically an LCD screen replacement for €93.14, and a "touch screen" replacement for €46.57 Here is the link:

... I'm just nervous about trying take the n900 apart and mess with the ribbons that connect the screens to the phone. I hope this is helpful.
