Better Manage GUI of Camera apps

The actual gui and manage of the Camera apps is terrible boring. I don't see any difference with Symbian touch device.

So i Redisigned. Is it possible to realized it?

What do you think?

I wouldn't want the image to be polluted with more options than it is currently.

I don't use the camera much, so please forgive me if I'm talking out of my ***, but don't you want to be able to see as much as possible of the possible picture on the display when taking a picture?

but in this mode we directly access to the function.

Currently if you, for example, go to the video mode, you press A and select video mode. Wow, on a Touch screen......

Or to select the screen resolution, is the same situation. I hate it! when i shot photo, i must be rapid!

@qwerty - ideally you want to be able to switch between the functions and clear field of view.

Shady91 has a good point. Are there any projects to enhance the camera interface currently in the works?

I did like the idea coz at the moment unless you have selected exposure or white balance other than the default it can be accessed only by going to settings and same for camera resolution and selecting camera/video and it is too much of pressing icons.
I don't like to populate much to disturb the view of actual image either but it can be implemented like:
* When in 5MP mode as there are so much space around, I don't think it will matter at all however, in 3.5 MP mode, the options can be hidden by default and activated with the tap in the screen and automatically/manually hidden when left unused for couple secs or another tap on the screen.
* Or only the ones that are already visible at the right side of the camera/video screen are visible and a tap would activate other settings icons.

These would make it easier/faster to set things than what it is now and screen wouldn't be over populated with options either.
