I'd still be bitter and twisted about Nokia not releasing Fremantle on N8XX.:mad:

But now I realize that the price to keep Nokia in the Open Systems game is that I have to buy one of their new devices every 18 months. In return I get shed loads of stuff upstream that I get for free:D

Yea, but if you had one you would keep it in your pocket - may be half decent, but to say it's not a looker is being kind....

As I don't own the N900 yet, I am going to explain what my life would be like had I not discovered it.

I would be SANE! I have spent the last 3 months obsessing over the N900 and pretty much counted down to my upgrade! I NEED this phone!

I would still be rocking my N95 8GB. Man I love that phone, I swear you could knock someone out with that thing and it would still make calls crystal clear.

I think if there was no N900, I simply wouldn't have bought a new device.
The N95 already had what I needed about multimedia and connectivity.

However, I always wanted an N800 or N810, but they couldn't make phone calls.
So the moment I got to know the N900, I knew I would buy one.

And that is what I did.
