I really wish that I could somehow play this online game on my 6.3 year old freaking stupid tablet. :)

funny how tone calls his art here 'scraps', since for me it'd be one of my best arts :D

It's the terminology used by MyPaint. It differentiates between two types of saved files, a "scrap" file, which is a quick safe function and a "normal" way of saving them.

Quoted from mypaint help page.

Quote:

  • Scraps: quick-save the current version of your work
    • It's faster than saving your file under a different name when you are just experimenting
    • The default folder scraps are saved will be the ".mypaint" or "MyPaint" folder for your user.

True on the quality of CT's work, though...

From down to the line of (half)nose and ear, this lady is perfect painting. Now, above, something strange happens - both proportionsnd her face shape becomes weird, giving her face a little demonic/metrosexual mix. Unless it was done on purpose, I think that part could use some more tries.

Thanks for sharing your awesome pieces of art!

I see nothing wrong with both faces. Perhap not Tone's best pieces, but nothing wrong or strange about them in my opinion.

BTW. My N900 unfortunately died, so I gave another try with Note 8 and I found that it's much faster than the first take, also the higher resolution and battery saving profile at the time could cause the lagness. So I got one, and now I really missed short keys, doubt that SketchUp would take any event from wireless keyboard but better try that later. Also I will need another painter app, must be a FOSS one or I'll never paint happy.

Off topic: What are you going to do with your dead N900? Can I have it? ;) I need one to make a3d scan.

Re: Look what I drew on my phone

I'm going to get a new used one for < $100 and use this one for spare parts, ie. my kid must have this thing. ;)

The dead was so hackish as I tried to fsck my home partition due to errors in local git repository and so I tried to do that right from init.d scripts but fail to do it properly due to sleepiness. So it went into boot loop so I decided to use boot menu to restore the root and extract the tar in ubuntu to fix the script, then copy it back and try to restore the tar with bootmenu.. that's the last blow. Not sure why but now it won't boot anymore, externally fully charging the battery and put it back and it can see no more light.

(I'm from Bangkok though)
