I can't wait till PR 1.2 comes out because my phone is really slowing down
 

Not that PR 1.2 will fix it, but by the time it comes around I can reflash it to factory default and then install PR 1.2 cleanly as possible. Right now my 4 desktops are full (I still need to add more because the possibilities with this phone are endless!) and my phone has been really lagging.

I don't think it's so much the apps because I've only downloaded apps from which is recommended here but *sigh* me and my perfectionism. I have on scratch on the phone and now I feel like I should buy a new one so it's "clean". I don't know I just wish PR 1.2 would come out already.

errr you meant Devel repos? or Testing repos? By what've seen, I can still installing every single apps from standard repos and Testing repos. And also almost all from Devel. Read the descriptions before installing it........ then you will never complain ever again :D

yes, and i got cold, so i hope pr1.2 will come soon that i'll be healthy again.

what i'm saying is that if you don't know how to use this phone and u made it slow. no update will help you and probably this phone is not for you

i want the same thing for the same reason. ive screwed with my phone that much that i feel like i should re-flash but i dont wanna do it till 1.2 because so much work went into my phone. so much hacking. so much exploring.

The first thing I'd look for if my phone was slowing down was the amount of rootfs space.

Booooooooooooooo I can't believe you brought up the iSuck on here. You think I'm gonna end up getting an iPhone like some kind of conformist? My camera is better, my desktop is better, everything is better! It's like a computer in my pocket. We all know without apps, the iPhone would be GARBAGE.

Only other thing than apps that is good is the touch screen and the way no one else can surpass it. Other than that I'm not gonna be some iPhone junkie that a bunch of FOB middle easterns and slutty white girls have I'm fine with my phone no get the **** outta my topic

uninstall apps located on the rootfs,or optify them using maemo-optify / manually by moving them to opt and symlinking

Not necesarily, it depends what you want to do with it.
you can always wait for these apps to get optified and then forget about all this hassle.
anyhow, this device is like a mini-linix-based-laptop in the palm of your hands....AMAZING
