fcrochik to solve peoples problem and since this is in devel anyways how about making this work with the current version of qt in devel that way people who have it will be able to go ahead and use this. You will need to do it once Pr 1.2 comes out anyways. Unless I'm wrong about what is causing the error they are getting.

Yeah, friend! you really hit the point!

Andrew,
You are right once PR1.2 is out I will have to compile it again. I could publish a different version using qt4.5 but it will not be the same and may end up causing even more confusion... I keep delaying it hoping that we will get the pr1.2 soon.

Re: [Announce] Macuco(2) on n900 - "iphone faker" browser

New version available on repository.

Fixes/Improvements:
  • replaced error message with "native" information banner with underline error message (the retry button was removed)
  • CTR+O: 100% zoom
  • CTR+I: adjust zoom factor to match iphone native resolution
  • mp3, mp4 files are opened on mediaplayer (for now application is only checking for the file extension - I have yet to figure out how to use the mime extension and check for the default application to handle each type and/or allow the user to pick the application that should handle each file type)
  • better scrolling and handling of mouse clicks

Please let me know of any file formats that you would like to see handled by external applications and any web sites that work well (or not) with macuco.

Thanks

Since I know you've mentioned that you'd work on an upgraded Diablo version could you please state what OS an update is for?

Re: [Announce] Macuco(2) on n900 - "iphone faker" browser

I have just replaced the macuco "homepage" with one that looks a little bit better and it is dynamic. I have a long list of links to add to it but haven't had the time yet...

There is no application update. The change is just to the hosted web page.

Check it out and let me know how it works for you.

PR1.2 Compatible

To celebrate the PR1.2 arrival and fix the qt dependencies I just release a new version of macuco2.

Other than using the new libraries it got a big revamp. The scrolling is much smoother and clicking the links much easier among other fixes. This new version also supports "auto rotation" and opening links on a "new window".

Not long go I replaced the "home page" with a much nicer one and more links.

Make sure to leave your thanks or comments so I know this package is useful to you and worth working on it.

Hey thanks Mr Crochik ! This application is really helpful for me and save time !
However I have a recent problem, since last update I can not connect to facebook anymore

It always says that I have entered a bad login/password . On full site I don't have any trouble accessing my fcbk homepage

Any clue about this problem ???

thx for your help and keep going with this cool stuff

It seems that it is an issue with either the web site "remembering" the user and/or with the application trying to use the "word completion". Try retyping the email (even if it looks right) and the password regardless of how many "dots" you see.

I will investigate further but it just worked for me.
