How does one add holidays to the calendar?

Obviously, holidays (as in Christmas, not vacation) can be added manually, but is there a way to import them from somewhere? Ones such as Mother's Day aren't on the same day every year, so would be a pain to add many years worth manually.

Thanks!

Goto http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/holidays.html
Select the link for the nation of your choice.
Select Open with Calendar.
Decide whether to add to an existing calendar or create a new one; I tend toward the latter.
Observe your calendar populated with holidays.

As the meerkat says, "Simples!"

I renamed the new calendar and put space in the name.
Now calendar application closes with error: "Internal error. Application 'Calendar' closed."
Does someone now where is that name stored? In mysql or some file so I can correct my mistake.

I understand it's sqllite. The following links may help if you understand this sort of thing:

You can download all sorts of other iCalendar files which are available about the web: f'rMinstance I have next year's 6 Nations staes in their own calendar already. Also for UKians, as I've mentioned before but will keep banging on about because it's so hoopy, if you search for a journey on traintimes.org.uk you can select an iCal link to download the journey details to your calendar. Which is nice.

Had to delete /home/user/.calendar/calendardb file and then full resync with exchange server. That fixed the problem.
thanks anyway :)

Within the calendar app you can have several different calendars. The default ones are n900 and Private. I've always assumed Private is for events you don't want to sync and don't use it. You can set different display colours for each and decide which are shown. When you tap Use xxx the events in the file are imported into the database for the calendar xxx. I use a seperate calendar for Holidays as it allows me to colour code them and delete them en masse without affecting my personal events.
