to get windows 8 to boot right you have to load Android 2.1 first then use the bootloader from Webos and everything will work just right.

thought it was a good idea to try the Win 9 RC link now all my desktop is filled with porn pictures... darn and the N900 got it OTA, its asking to turn on the compass and switch off the ion-gun... wait its not asking anymore but where comes this ticking sound from now...

Thanks I tried that and now I can at least boot up. But the bootscreen now has a message asking me to put money into an escrow account so I can get an inheritance from a dead uncle in Nigeria. Problem is it only lists Paypal and I don't have that!!! Please tell me how I can send funds directly to a bank account, thanks.

Thanks I will get the 12,500 USD out in cash now. Please can you now tell me how long it will take for my 43,000,000 USD inheritance to get here? The message did not say, and my lawyer is getting impatient. I still intend to sue Microsoft for making such a bad phone.

this thread is funny. dont forget some people flashed like i did and i fully knew the risks. but i agree some people should not even own a n900 and just stick with a iphone

omg wtf! same fing wot happened to me but i take it to the pc shop man and he give me windows 10.5 for 400 pounds! it look nuffin like windows and have lotsa pengwins onnit! :)

I quadruple boot Meego, Maemo, Android and iPhone OS 4.0.
Then my phone blew up.
