Your 10 year old phone is doing it pretty much the same way as fMMS does it - just it doesn't tell you it goes online to fetch the message (as long as it an MMS, that is), sorry. Quote:

Could you attach /home/user/.fmms/mms/2tidcmms61438221871_1q19dg/message in an email to fmms@frals.se and mention your username here and a link to your post and I'll look in to it when I have more spare time :) Thanks everyone for the kind words and your continuous suggestions - I'm sorry I haven't been active the last ~month but I'm still busy getting settled in both at work and in Finland so might still be a while before I have time for any bigger updates. :) PS. Sorry if I missed some posts, too many unread posts >_< |

Re: [Announce] fMMS - MMS on the N900
i haven't read the complete thread (too long :-) ), so maybe there was already such a request and a corresponding answer:
a) Is it possible to have all MMS listed like in the conversation dialog (sms), such that there isn't an entry for each MMS but only one for each addresser? My emails are forwarded to my N900 via MMS and the MMS-Conversation-list is huge when each email is listed separatedly. It would be more convenient if all MMS are grouped by the person who sent the MMS. b) If there's no entry in the the contacts list (i.e. the address book) then the addresser is not displayed correctly. It seems that an arbitrary contact name is chosen from the address book. If you open an MMS and look at the header, you can see the correct address. fmms is really nice! I hope these (smaller) issues can be resolved, too :-) Thanks, nexus |
Re: [Announce] fMMS - MMS on the N900
Added a new wiki entry (http://wiki.maemo.org/mms). Settings for Warid, Pakistan are:
fAPN add a new apn -> Warid MMS Internet Connections -> Warid MMS -> Edit Access Point Name: mms.warid HTTP Proxy: 10.4.2.1 Port Number: 8080 fMMS Settings Access Point Name: mms.warid MMSC: http://10.4.0.132/servlets/mms username: password: HTTP Proxy: 10.4.2.1 Port Number: 8080 ------ manually connect to Warid MMS before using fMMS |

Re: [Announce] fMMS - MMS on the N900
this thread is already so huge, I wonder if the author of fmms is still reading these late responses to fmms :-)
Is there a better way to give feedback to a package via this website? thanks, nexus |
