Indeed, we were disappointed not to have yourself or Tero there - it was difficult to speak to what Nokia might be doing wrt Maemo in the future, or the impact of MeeGo on the project, with only Daniel present.

Perhaps the next time you and/or Tero would like to take the responsibility for finding a meeting time & announcing the meeting to ensure that you're able to make it?

Agreed. Which is why it is important that the best of Maemo's community infrastructure (not all, just the good parts ;)) is also available on MeeGo. And being able to transfer your maemo.org identity to meego.com doesn't hurt either.
