QtStart Dictionary

Guys,

I have a question about this cool app. How can I use this app when I am not connected to the internet. Or are there any dictionary apps that can work without the internet?

I would really appreciate if you can help me with the QtStart app.

Thanks, :)

I've never heard of that app, nor can I find any mention of it in the repositories, on this site, or via Google. Are you sure you have the name right and, if so, can you perhaps provide a link?

As for other dictionary apps, both QStarDict and mStarDict work offline - they use the same StarDict dictionaries, but have different interfaces (personally I prefer mStarDict).

Rob1n,

Have you found a way to integrate mStarDict with the N900's email, note taking and browser applications?

I just installed the "mStarDict". Please tell me the steps of downloading the dictionaries from "StarDict" dictionaries. Please be detail with your instructions cuz I am totally new with N900 and with Linux too. :(

Sorry!

Is there a way I can do it through PC then transfer the files to the phone. Because I failed using Xterminal and and all that. I tried all the step numerous times. But didn't work for me.

Thanks,

Thanks - I love my N900, but I quietly fume that there is no integrated spellcheck. My spelling is pretty awful at the best of time, combine that with a tiny keyboard and tiny screen and it gets worse. I think it is infuriating that the N900 does not have a spellcheck option for email, SMS, notes, etc.

Dude,

Is it different if you have Qstardict 4.5.3?
Because I still couldn't figure it out. Can you please give me the exact link of the tarball file I need to download.
I tried pretty all (bz2 and tgz)

I would really appreciate for your help.
