Yup i tested on an open app only, say conv,music player, but apparantely just worked for conv once and then the trick didnt work for nething else. btw my keyboard are totally fine and have rebooted mah device too.

Yes, you must apply every time at every app... not very nice, that's we have, so reboot does not help.

oh well i got around the issue, It seems pressing the "r" key too long doesnot enable the trick. The combination press has to be quick.

sometimes,portrait mode might come in handy..even this is just an update,i'm sure we'll have portrait enabled app sooner or later..:confused:

i myself are in need of portrait mode in some circumstances..such as inside a train..one hand is holding the railing,and the other hand is holding a phone..:rolleyes:

VertSMS is still going to be useful until nokia adds the VKB onto portrait mode..:cool:

i know this is a table internet device which its orientation is mainly landscape..but to add a phone capability,i guess it's quite nice too add the portrait mode.

some might say they dont need the portrait mode..but i'm pretty DAMN SURE they'll use it more than 10 times..especially when replying to sms or email using one hand...:D:D:D

I wouldnt hold my breath on this one. I think it's a glitch enabled by Nokia (reason whatsoever)

Nokia has althought said that they are increasing support of portait-mode. But full portait-mode support is no go.
