As for a name after the merge with Telescope, how about Spyglass? Or maybe Galileo?

5) Email notifications
With the removal of the side bar notification of email, etc is missing.
Temporary work-around:
To get notifications, put the home menu in the status bar, issue as root:

cp /usr/share/applications/hildon-navigator/switcher-menu.desktop /usr/share/applications/hildon-status-bar/



I tried this but I keep getting denied access. Does anyone know another way to get email and chat notifications?

If you're getting access denied errors, you might not be doing it as root. Did you install rootsh and type 'sudo gainroot' before trying it?

why not just use sudo -s?

P.S. Right now I am preparing the package of Diablo v. 0.8.
It is not a VERY big improvement because Mitrandir stopped working with increasing quantity of statusbar applets. I hope it will be available to download in a few days.

BTW I just don't want to go so far from "Diablo" name of the OS. But Deteel sounds nice.
