You may also want to take a loot at some of the work they did for LCARS.

I quote:
"Works on ITOS2008 (Maemo 4.0) only
Built with hildon-theme-tools
With patched hildon-theme-layout-4 (there is another changelog in the patch)
Most graphics recreated in SVG with Inkscape
Added black outlines to desktop applets, menus, dialogs, etc.
Updated desktop applets (with transparency)
Most icons are now themed properly, rather than diverted
Unthemeable files now have their own package (lcars-extras)
Replaced Nokia Hands startup graphic (lcars-extras)
New search applet for memory-alpha.org (search-memory-alpha)
Activated toolbar animations
Set color of text insertion cursor
Worked around text color issue in the browser (bug 1825)"

Bug 1825 may be interesting for you as well.

And, to quote someone:
"Text input field has no background color as it takes an image as background. You might want to check Editor and Time Editor on the Theme.xml"

Whatever that means :)

It appears as if the solution to Bug 1825 is...THIS. which might work for your theme and the black entry windows?

I'll be quiet now ... :)

Ok, one more.
The text on this page.

Talks about the issue with the color of the chat windows:

"Maemo bug #1716: The text color in the built-in Internet Chat program needs to be configured (Instant messaging -> Tools -> Settings) because it defaults to black"

Seems like that has a resolution as well.

Nice! Great! It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will try to change chat text color during installation!
A lot of thanks!
Can you edit the first post (remove issue with virtual keyboard and add how2 make the text color white) for me?

Happy it worked.
You may want to read the full text in bug #1716 as they go on about the text settings in there.

First post updated to reflect this.

Now get back to your studies, no more theme work until you're done with your finals!! :)

EDIT: Since some of these bugs are 'fixed in Fremantle' it might be possible to lobby for them, if applicable, to be included in the next version of SSU to help all Diablo theme-builders.

I wanted to point out a bug in the theme with the default media player app. It looks like some arias along the bottom are missing color. See screenshot.

Can this be fixed?

It's not a bug... I haven't had time to make it yet... I'm sorry.
It will be fixed of course, in the future... :o
